What is our Return Policy?
If you have ordered a tee shirt it was made by a print on demand company, probably or Printify or Printful. Here is the link to Printify's return policy. They will not cover errors such as wrong shirt size, colour, etc. but will make a new shirt free of charge if there is a manufacturing error. Since we placed the order for the shirt we will contact them on your behalf and delivery the proper shirt free of charge. Contact us a email@example.com.
If your shirt has faded after a few washes please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org (please include images). If these companies produce substandard prints we need to know so we can move to other printing companies. We will issue you a new shirt from a different provider free of charge or full refund (not including shipping).
If you ordered a black ceramic coffee mug than it came directly from us and we will happily replace any mug that has been damaged during shipping free of cost.
Why do I only get one shipping option/rate called "Shipping"?
If you make an order combining products that we ship directly and products other companies ship one default rate called "shipping" will appear in your checkout. Shopify calculates the different shipping rates and combines them into one fee. We are currently looking into ways to allow more user options, or at least reduce the cost. This also means that parts of your order may arrive at different times or days.
Receiving your order
If you order a mug and tee shirt they will likely arrive at different times and in different packages. The reason for this is because the tee shirts are ordered from and shipped by a third party, while the mugs are shipped directly from our location. Additionally during this time of COVID-19 delivery's have been delayed and it might take awhile for them to arrive.
100% Cotton (or is it?)
We order shirts that are advertised/listed as 100% cotton, but there is a chance the shirt might be a blend. If you receive a shirt that is not 100% cotton please inform us immeditaly so we can provide a replacement. We try to avoid shirt colours (grey, heather) that rely on polyester to achieve their hue.
What do I do if I never received my order, or I received a defective order?
If you never received your order, or received a defective order (such as a poorly aligned print) please contact us ASAP at email@example.com. If the order is defective please provide photographic evidence if possible.
Help! My tee shirt has faded after a few washes
This is an issue that may occur to you. If your shirt has faded after a few washes please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org (please include images). We rely on third party providers that have user ratings at 9/10 or higher. If these companies produce substandard prints we need to know so we can move to other printing companies. Your feedback helps us greatly in that regard. We will issue you a new shirt from a different provider free of charge or full refund (not including shipping).
Also please follow these instructions when washing your shirt:
For maximum durability of your shirt it's recommended you wash it using a cold and gentle cycle or by hand (with cold water) and turn the shirt inside out. Also avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softeners. When drying your shirt put the dryer on a low heat or hang the shirt to dry. If your shirt starts to fade after only a few washes contact us right away.
International Taxes and Duties
We have set up the checkout area to include taxes and duties. If hidden additional fees are charged to you please contact us and we will try to refund the fee from your bill or provide you a gift card or discount code if the refund is impossible.
How do I make sure I order the right size?
To select the right tee shirt size there is a drop down menu in the product page, above the "add to cart" button. We've also included an measurement table.
Where are the products printed?
The tee shirts are 100% cotton and are printed using the DTG (Direct to Garment) process by companies in the USA and Canada. The black ceramic mugs are printed by Artik, in Toronto. The white ceramic mugs and stainless steel drinkware are printed in the USA and/or Europe by Printful. However all the mugs are made in China (in case there is any ideological and/or ethical concerns about their place of origin). We are hoping to offer locally (London, Ontario) handmade artisan mugs in the near future to sell alongside the mass produced ones.
Why is the owl head green when its against a light background, and not black?
I was originally planning to have the owl head in black, but when I put it against a light background instead of the black one it took on a racist blackface appearance (at least to me). When I changed the colour to green the racist feeling I was getting vanished. The weird thing this feeling was only applicable to the one owl design, not the others.
